Multifunctional Agriculture - Master’s degree programme
Applications to study program Multifunctional Agriculture are closed now!
The programme stems from a broader approach to agriculture that involves agricultural enterprises combining sustainable agricultural production and activities such as product processing at farms and their sale as well as agrotourism.
The degree programme is divided into four thematically linked semesters:
- semester - biological base of agriculture unifies knowledge of students from geographically and climatically different countries to the level needed for successful completion of other semesters
- semester - conventional farming apart from cultivation and breeding-focused subjects, also agricultural biotechnologies
- semester - organic farming presents knowledge on planning sustainable systems of agricultural management, cultivating plants and breeding animals within ecological agriculture as well as on the processing of bioproduction at farms, social agriculture and agrotourism.
- semester - landscape management addresses questions concerning landscape planning, regional management and soil erosion protection.

Application in two steps:
Step 1.
Fill in the Preliminary Application Form and send it together with copies of your Diploma, Transcript of Records and Passport to e-mail adress kdvorako@zf.jcu.cz. We will check if your previous studies fit for Multifunctional Agriculture study programme.

Access to on-line application: Online application form
- generating of acces code – please, remember this code for later acces to on-line application and admission procedure control
- filing personal data (mostly similar like in the preliminary application). Important! – as study language do not fill„English“, but „any“
- acces to payment gateway via credit card 500 CZK (it is approx. 20 EUR) – admission fee (by law)
By law, higher education at public and state institutions is free of charge for citizens of all nationalities, with the following exceptions:
- fees for administration of admission proceedings;
- fees for extending the duration of study beyond a set limit;
- fees for the study of an additional programme to the original studied;
- fees for study in a foreign language.
The tuition fees differ from 26–11,050 USD per year and the amount depends on the relevant faculty and study programme.
